I used to get CNP Pro-Mass, in the UK, and was very happy with it. I can't get it here in the US so I need something else.
It can't taste bad, and it can't bloat you out.
Any suggestions?

it tastes great you should be able to get usn over there ?? if not la muscle platinim is the best tasting weight gainer i have tried and it works
Just blend milk, oats, natural peanut butter, whey, and whatever else you like in a blender.
No way lol. I'm too lazy for that shit. I need a good mass gain.
best way to gain weight is eat a lot. exceed the calories you take everyday. if you want to get fat and gain weight, then eat anything you want. but if you want to gain weight with adding small amount of fat, then eat good food but still exceeding the caloric intake.
honestly bro food is the answer not weight gainer shakes...and who cares if it tastes good if it is giving you the nutrients that you need...i stoped eating for flavor long ago, i now eat out of nessesity to reach my goals...you will understand what i mean after a few years of strickt clean eating if you actually adopt the bbing lifestyle but reading that your lazy and wont even make yourself a homemade shake leads me to beleive you have a long way to go...good luck...
This will keep you from succeeding at anything. Not just bodybuilding and sports, but life in general. What you need to do is learn how to eat properly for your goals. It's going to involve many hours of effort to research and devise a meal plan that you can try/tweak to get the results you want. Bodybuilding isn't easy, but nothing in life worth doing is.
And by the way, try to find foods that will meet your goals, that you like to eat.
I dont think it's a good idea to substitute food for shakes when it comes to gaining mass/weight. I use shakes for quick recovery and pre workout fuel but not as a meal replacement.
I use Muscle Juice 2544. Tastes great, pretty clean, low sugar. I dont use full servings though, a full serving is 1020 calories. I used to use it as a weight gainer, but now I just use 3 scoops as my post workout shake. I have a buddy that seems to like Russian bear. Check out bodybuilding.com
It's all shit. Tons of sugar formed into a powder, and you'll piss most of it out within 20 minutes of chugging the shake.
iso2 nutrition weight gainer shake. bloody lovely !!
Home made.
2 cups pineapple juice
1 banana
1 cup blue berries
2 scoops vanilla whey
Taste amazing! and its great post workout shake
First of all, I don't want it as a meal replacement, I just need the extra. I have a fast metabolism, not a lot of money, and eat three meals a day. I'm 6.4 170lb. I don't lose or gain any weight with my current food intake. Ye I'd love to have a fridge full of food, that I can just go to 6-7 times a day, and eat. I used to do that in England, because I was fortunate enough to have someone buy all my food for me, AND I was drinking Pro-Mass. I was around 180lb in England, having done two courses already and eating right. Yes 6.4 180lb is still small after two courses, but I've always been a skinny guy.
When I say too lazy for that, I'm just kind of kidding around because I don't want the hassle of buying all that stuff when I can buy a weight gainer. Yes that is lazy, but I'm not a generally lazy person. I can happily go to the gym every day.
Look into different cooking techniques. By buying in bulk and cooking things like fish, chicken rice and sweet potatoes you can make up your food for the day all at once and simply put the portions in plastic containers for consumption during the day. The guy I train with works on fitness equipment and he does most of his cooking for the next 4 days all in one hour then put the food in containers and eats like this. He eats while driving so he does not have to waste time at lunch. If you go to places like Sams club you can by damn nice chicken breast for $1.97 lb as well as Tilapia, Flounder and Salmon for between $4 and $6 a pound and of course the Brown rice, Sweet potatoes, Lentils and other carbs are like $0.50 a lb in bulk not to mention 2.5 lbs of almonds are $12.95 so you can eat 8 meals a day cheap and easy if you use a little inginuity and planning.
Milk, peanut butter, potatoes and steak.
steak and sweet potatoes!!!
I hate peanut butter. These are all great suggestions, and I appreciate that. But I really just need a good weight gainer lol.
weight gainers are garbage! there full of simple carbs and they have far far to many carbs for one siting unless it is post workout.
If you can get a meal in have a protein shake with a hand full of nuts until you next meal, or protein mixed with oats and some flax oil is good too.
When in school Im busy! so i dont have alot of time to eat but I make it a rule that I have to get in atleast 3-4 large meals a day and 2-3 shakes a day....id like to eat more real food but I commute to school 3 hours a day and have 2-3 classes a day so shakes come in handy!
Don't spend money on weight gainer just get decent nutrition into you ie more food
kashi bars and nuts are a great way to add extra cals to a meal. You can add an extra 500-700 cals a day just by throwing a hand full of nuts after 2-3 of your meals and mabey a kashi bar with breakfast.
The point everyone is making is that a weight gainer is not the best option; in other words it will not optimize your gains. The perception is that you came here looking for advice on how to maximize gains, that is sort of the point of these forums. If you are interested in maximizing your gains than listen to the advice. If that is not your goal, and your goal truly is finding which weight gainer is the least shitty... then head over to GNC and ask the dude at the desk.
Keep in mind you are basically asking which bin of sugar and whey is the best. They are all the same: sugar and whey.
The only time I used weight gainer was as a last resort when I woke up late and needed a meal on the run or during the day...it does come in handy but its more of an insurance then it is an every day thing.
Are protein shakes ok?

I use muscle juice, 1000 calories per shake, 55g protein, almost no fat, but I do not substitute this for any meal. This is a before bed shake.
I know this isn't a shake or anything, but when I'm stuck in rather long drives, or just need a snack between meals, I'll eat one of those Detour bars. The peanut butter ones taste as good as any candy bar on the market. But I warn you, you need a glass of milk to wash them down.
I use optimum nutrition pro complex gainer, around 600 calories and 28 servings is about $60
