need help trying to home diagnose knee injury

I've recently injured my knee doing deep squats (ass to heels as I like to call it). The injury happend about 2-3 weeks ago doing lightweight about 50% of my max just to warm up, I came up one of my legs wrong and heard a pop and then my leg felt weak so I stopped working my legs since then, my knee does not hurt doing any other exercise besides squats I walk on it fine do leg curls fine and leg extensions fine with out it bothering me. Any clue what may be wrong with it ?

p.s asking here now because its a long wait till I can see the orthopedist

Where is the pain located? Back/outside of knee? Back/inside of knee? Diffused pain around the back of the knee? Any Swelling at the time? Any feeling of giving way?
