I have though many times over the years to set up a 4 camera system in my car that records 24/7 while the car is running and just writes over the previous recording every 8hrs or? so you dont need a HUGE HD. Anymore though with flash drive over 100g and if you did low resolution 640 you probably could record for a month or more. LOL

i saw this on msnbc the other day..

something like this happened to me when i was a kid.. my dad and i were driving to mexico in our RV and i was sitting shotgun.. he asked me to get a soda out of the fridge and i got up to go to the back and right as i got up the semi in front of us ran over a three inch bolt and shot it right into the chair i was just sitting in.. it would have probably killed me if i was there... missed it by 3 seconds.. thank you guardian angel.. who ever you are

happened me on my blade once, was behind a car in the fast lane at around 80mph on the motorway and noticed that the rear passenger side wheel appeared wobbly and twigged it was the wheel trim not connected properly that was creating the illusion, got a bad feeling and decided to go back into the rightside lane just as i moved across it flew off right at head height and skimmed the top of my left trap!! fvckin close call, it sounded like a helicopter going past and would have sliced through my helmet and into my face
