    New Hardgainer here!

    Hey guys!

To make this as simple as possible, I am a 22 year old guy from the UK who has been a hardgainer since he has started training. I'm going to try and summarise my plight in just a few sentences here, but basically when I was 18 and I started training I was already 6ft 2 but also only about 9st. I hate my body sometimes ha. My photo is me about a year ago when I peaked my strength and weight before finding it impossible to improve further. I mostly want to sort my chest and shoulders out, and hopefully legs too as I have long legs and they are awfully skinny.

Over the past 3 years I have gotten this up to 11st through hard training and weight gain supplements such as Serious Mass, as well as a few others. For the past year though no matter what I have tried it has been impossible for me to get past this plateau, regardless of the amount of money I pump into memberships and supplements. I originally thought I would wait for my matabolism to sort itself out, but what I am finding I am becoming more and more demotivated at the gym, now only going 3 times a week instead of enjoying 4/5 times a week.

I always respected the potency of steroids, which is why I have waited until I am 22. I know a lot of people get negative feedback from these forums because they are too young or want them for the wrong reasons, but I think I have a pretty secure idea of why I want to do this and what I hope to achieve. My friends have been on them since 18 and all taken over me by a lot of weight and strength, not to mention other benefits.

What do I want out of this?

Learn more about the steroids, and hopefully do a cycle around August this year. I want to break this plateau and while I understand post-cycle you lose a lot of the mass, you can keep some through training. I want to break out of this skinny body which is holding me back, and hopefully change my body in the future breaking through this plateau and being able to maintain a more normal looking weight.

Finally, I hope to meet some nice people on here and feel better about myself and feel happier at the gym.

    Cheers for reading

    Welcome.

22 is still a bit too early. Can you wait a tad longer?

I imagined I'd get this reply. In my mind I see people younger than me always doing it and seeing no consequences, although to be fair who knows what their long-term issues may be. But they did this years ago, and I will be 23 when I hope to start.

Perhaps if you can tell me exactly what I am risking at my age I can truly weigh up the risk versus rewards.

Well as you can see Im new here too, but i have been and still a small guy. However Im 40 now and have atleast my experience i can share with you.

When I was 20 I guess I started some AAS that my friend and I got our hands on. The strength gains were really good but the size or weight gains were nothing to jump up and down about. The problem was is that I didnt train my body or my mind for a bigger size. After I came off the AAS it was like rolling back down the hill. Took about a year to loose most of the weight I had gained and even with me working out the strength was falling off too. Talking about now wanting to train anymore. Go to the gym month after month and keep dropping the weights. Not fun.

Fast forward 18 yrs which seems like forever for you, but really it comes like a freight train. Now IDk if these problems are related to my one cycle of AAS or not, but in the back of your mind you will always wonder. At the age of 38 I had my BW tested and my test lvl was that of an old mans, and I felt like that too. Was that just how my body worked or was it from damage i did from the AAS at an earlier age for my short term gains that didnt last. Everyone is not big, but you really want to wait till your body is done everything it needs to do before you start messing with it.

I have a young son and this is what I would say to him. "Its not worth the risk of doing them. You most likely will not have BW done every three months to test everything it affects and just to be the devils advocate here, you may not be getting the highest quality stuff. So thats adding risks on top of risks. You have your whole life ahead of you. Just continue training you mind and your body."

Being bigger is all you and I can see. The big guy at the gym or with the girl or on t.v, but if you dont lay a really good foundation it wont last and then you will feel even worse then you do now. Just keep doing what you are doing and give it some more time and see how your body reacts. you have all the time in the world. One thing I would say do is go get some BW done and have it at a baseline for when you get older.

Good luck and read and search the hell out of these forums. Not just the AAS parts but the diet and the workout parts.

If you are not gaining wieght you are not eating enough food bottom line! If you use aas and do not have diet down 100% then you will shrink right back to the size you are now but feel even shittier. Hit the diet section for a while then come back and well look into somthing for you if your still serious then.

ps listen to guy above because just because people say they have no problems doesnt mean they dont. I doubt any 22 yr old would want to admit he has erectile disfunction. But i know several that do (gfs told me haha) and it all started after steroid use at a young age. 23 isnt that young but diet is your best bet now

    1. off all. Cancel all your supplements. Use the money on real food..
    2. Dont wait for you metabolism, its maybe a little higher than normal, but I bet a LOT that you are not eating enough (even tho you think you are).. Are you eating (I dont know your weight, so im gonna assume you are around 78kg) AT LEAST 4000Kcals/ day?
    3. Do you know all you need to know about training and nutrition?
    4. Do you/ your friends know all you need to know about bol?
    5. I'm not entirely sure about what you meant, but train your legs more than your upper body..

    ... Welcome!
