    Making Oates tasty?

I've reached the fvcking pinnacle with Oatmeal. I'm on a real strict recomp diet right now so I'm avoiding Splenda, Sweet & Low, etc.

    - I've tried Cinnamon, which got old real fast.
    - I've tried mixing half a scoop of chocolate whey in, which got old even faster.

    Any suggestions? I've had it!

i would say change the whole texture all together. protien pancakes could be an option or grind them real fine and make a shake out of them.

It looks like thats what needs to be done. Its either that or sacrifice adding one packet of Splenda.

I've been using a teaspoon of Torani french vanilla sugar-free syrup in my oats. I had previously been using protein powder to change mine
as well and it was getting very old. It's good in coffee, too.

Thank you. I'll have to look into that. Is that stuff loaded up with sweet & low or splenda?

haha oats, got to love oats. You said no sugar, does that include fruit?

Chopping up and putting a banana into the mix makes it surprisingly bearable!

You can try this if you want. It is called quinoa. Taste much better than oats and has a higher protein content. And just add some natural honey to it and its all good.

Sorry sent the reply to someone else on accident. I would try quinoa the shit taste great just add honey ( natural not the bs type and your all good) just make sure you get the pre cleaned stuff or you will spend alot of time prepping it for consumption. I love it but thats me but I will say this it is way better for you than oat meal.

So let me ask a question then. If he is on a recomp diet then why would he worry about honey if he is adding chocolate whey. Because speaking in dietary term honey is healthier for you. People are telling him to add blueberries when they are less healthier than honey so could you please tell me what i am missing.

    Honey is neat sugar....

And the macros you have posted are for 1 cup of blueberrys.... No one would add a whole cup to there oats...

I just recently started any oats and I have no problem with them. I put them in my shake, but some always gets stuck at the bottom. So I just fish them out with a spoon and eat them. It kind of triggers something in my brain that reminds me of eating soggy Frosted Flakes back in the day and I actually enjoy it. Makes my brain think we are getting a treat. LOL!!!
