    Marinating Chicken - EVOO Absorption

    Never took enough consideration into this before, but when you guys marinate chicken using EVOO how do you factor in what actually sticks with the chicken and what gets left in the bag / pan and thrown out ? I usually do 2 Tbsp per chicken breast and I end up having half left when I go to BBQ (my macros require 1 TBSP of EVOO per piece of chicken). Alternatively, is the number so small that it's better to just marinate with chicken and not take into the trivial value and just add extra EVOO after BBQ'ing ?

    i wouldnt worry about it. add in what will be lost in the cooking process. when you marinate it do you add salt? this will draw water out so you may have water in there also.

    Dude dont worry about these simple things. Know one on this planet can prepare his food to the exact macros as planned. Just try to give a best estimate of how much calories you are getting from each of your meals .

    Agreed - it's impossible to know for sure. Even the most meticulous person's macros will be off to some degree. Just call it a few grams of fat per breast, then call it a day!
