Find out if bank details are for the right person (Australia)

So I have someone sending me some stuff in Australia.

I have bank account details for him, but I am worried he is a cop. Is there a way to check who own the bank account before I send cash.

The things you have to do to get stuff where I am from!

No. There are privacy laws that protect the privacy of the owners of those accounts.

Think how horrible spammers would be if they could identify owners of bank accounts.

If you have any doubts, then call it off. There are waaay too many legit sources on the internet you can go to without taking a chance on this one thinking it may be a cop.

If he was a cop, trust me, he would do it in person, he is not going to sus you out via his bank details.

If its not worth thousands of $$$ dont think cops would waste there time boi, and it have to be feds if its state to state,
and there not going to be tracking small time lad, unless there's something your hiding, lol.

I wouldnt worry, i'd be more worried about if the guy will send you the goods after you make the payment?
