    Unhappy Weak grip after lifting

My grip always gets loose halfway through my total work out from lifting any weights(dumb bells, barbells). And this prevents me from doing more reps and at the very end even sets.

So is there away to prevent me from getting such a sore grip? technique or maybe special equipment of some kind such as gloves or something?

work on your forearms. i used to get the same thing. It was due to lack of strength in my forearms. The muscles are wearing out faster than your others.

oh ok. But since my forearms are being worked indirectly from my other workouts, is their something i can use to bring me through the second half of my workout when my grip gives out?

Well you can try captain crush. It like this small device that you squeeze and it has different resistances.

Also you could try to do every exercise without lifting straps, that actually improved my grip

I mean actually focusing on lifts that are specialized for forearms. I understand that get work from your other lifts but from your problem it seems they need a little help. I was in the same boat and its what i did. Until it has been solved though you may want to try straps. They will keep your grip so you can hit the muscle you are focusing on. The only downside is straps will take away from that weight that was previously being supported through your grip which in turn takes away from grip strength

haha i do alot of deadlifts and never use wrist straps, thats probably why my grip gets weak so fast.

If weight gets very heavy, I would suggest using wrist straps, but not on warm up sets.

post the workout that your grip gives out on
dont use something to help you lift because you will never adapt to actually lift it, ex ditch the gloves and use a weight belt sparingly(only for absolute heaviest sets)

    3. do farmers walk, it's king of grip power excercise

If you continue to have weakness, have a doctor check you for carpal tunnel. I have had grip problems for a long time and I know it is related to CT, I just haven't had enough of a problem to make it to the doctor. Do you hands ever feel like they are falling asleep when your wrists are bent for a little while?

Get a job on a fishing boat for the summer pulling crab pots and such. The strongest grips I have felt are from fishermen.

When you do your farmers walk try taking a towel for each bell and fold it up 3 or 4 times and wrap it around the bell and grip that as you walk because the soft towel makes it harder to grip and it causes your forearms to constantly want to grip harder and will overall work them out harder faster. its a good thing to do as your last exercise.

I have had this problem too, where my forearms give out before my legs on deadlifts. But the only solutions are straps or gaining grip strength, and I sure as hell aren't using straps. I set the pins just below my hips, wrap a towel around the bar, then lift for as long as I can. Since I started this my grip strength and deadlift has gone up significantly.
