    High Frequency Training

    Hi.
I have been curious about this approach to bodybuilding. And have started a routine myself, to see how it goes.
High Frequency Training is training the whole body, EVERYDAY!
Yes, I have always been told to either train 3 times a week, or split the body and train each part 2 or even 1 times a week.
I've always held to idea of "less is more", and the Heavy Duty ideas.
But, I've been reading now how in the old days, bodybuilders would train their whole body, everyday.
Now, I am inspired a lot by Menzter, so I do believe the One Set to Failure, is all one really needs. But, Menzter recommended a low frequency training.
Of course, I think it'd be overkill to mix volume training with high frequency training, so I think the one set to failure would work well with it, and maybe the rep range could be higher, 12-20.
So, before anyone poos on this, I'd be curious is anyone here has done this?
And here is a link that touches on this, and shows two guys Ralph Kroger, and Bill Hemsworth, of the 70's, did this full body every day training, and they look awesome.

Of course this is a time before heavy use of drugs.
I'll post how my progress is doing as well.

Back in 70' like you say, they were experimenting all the drugs and exercise, today we have more research in drugs and work out. Do you have and Idea how much Steroids this guys used back in 70'? Doing your whole body every day will make you loose fat, get lean, and you won't grow. Did see any bike rider way big and very bulk? NO rite? because they run miles and miles every day, burn all out, and the muscle get small and stronger. Its been prove today that diet, work out and rest is the best. But good luck to you and keep us posted with your results.

Well, yeah. But when doing a daily resistance training, you still have to be progressive. I'm trying to find more vintage bodybuilding routines that incorporated this approach. I'll keep you posted. This is experimental. But we all know, there are so many training routines that conflict with each other in theory.

One thing I've noticed since doing this, is I feel hot all the time. It makes me think of that fat buring drug, DNP, where it increases your body temperature, burning fat. I tell ya, I am constantly feeling like I am hot working out like this, plus I'm seeing more veins than I had before. I'm gonna take a picture of myself this Sunday, and a new one every week, and see how this is going. If I feel it's not, I'll ditch it, and look at it as an experiment and go back to Low Frequency, but I'm a bit on the fat side too, and if this helps with this aspect too, then that's even better.

YOUR body consumes the same amount of calories whether you are freezing cold or melting hot.

Then what does thermic, and thermogenic refer to?
