low dose accutane?

I don't have acne naturally but around wk 8 on cycle I usually start getting it pretty bad.
Could I run a low dose say 10-20mg for a month or two before or during cycle to help combat bacne?

I do..... never have issues. Before you jump on accutane tho.... you should try all the otc stuff first. Benzoyl peroxide creams and shower washes actually work great for me when used consistantly. Also..... a lot of people liked a product called acne annhilator by platinum labz.....

depends on how severe the acne is and how fast I need it cleared up. If it's pretty bad and I need it cleared up asap - 40mg/day till it shows signs of subsiding. Then drop to 20mg till it's looking good. Then 10mg to finish it off.

If I don't need it cleared up asap...... I run 20mg/day for the first 5-7 days and then 10mg until it's clear.

I try to keep the dose as low as possible while still yielding results.

I would use accutane last ditch effort. I use a OTC topical that works wonders on skin,,,especially acne problems.

Probably for mild acne. Other wise your wasting your money, effective Accutane doses from the doc are based on your body weight

When one goes to the dermatologist for acne they are getting treated with doses to shut down the oil glands. This isn't what he wanted to do..... low dosages of acctune will clear up the skin without permanantly shutting down the oil glands.

Anyone who wants to use accutane as a permanant solution and shut down their glads should do so ONLY under a doctors care.

I tried all the topical listed. I had acne carpet front and back. I just threw up my hands and got accutane 40mg/ed for 5 weeks and presto! No more acne. That stuff's awesome. I've read about all the bad sides but I didn't see anything bad.
