    New Hamster needs help :(

    Where do i start? well first start off with the hamster being me. okay i am right now 19 and extremely over weight. im not going to lie to anyone or sugar coat and want to be sugar coated i rather have the truth. as of right now today i weight my self at 262.2 so i rounded to 263lbs weight around 5-11 to 6"1 ( probly 6ft tho ) so i went online and punched in the numbers to find my and i got 35.7 BMI which i know lands on obesity. so i want to turn that around and loose alot of weight no matter what are the prices. i would like to know if you guys have any tips or trick to loosing weight. maybe point me out to a proper diet? any thing that could help me burn weight? i know im a noob and might be asking alot but i just want to get there. i know dieting , cardio will do magic but i dont want to be just bones and skin. i want to be somewhere around 200 to 220 and have muscle still. if anyone could help me please do so

    Eat only things you can hunt, pick or grow. Do 1hour of cardio everyday. Lift weights, 1 bodypart per day. Treat going to the gym as if it is a job.

    Hi and Welcome!

    You came to the right place to help change your life. Steady is the key. Consistency. Changing habits bit by bit. And dedicating yourself to making better choices. Once you do this you will be amazed at how you feel.

    We are all here to reach our goals.

    Could you please review some of the stickies and threads and then propose an eating plan you know you will follow. Something you will stick to so it will work. That is the secret IMO.

    Meantime if you could try to do some fasted cardio first thing in the morning, your BF will start dropping off.

    well the thing is. im in college

    my diet i had right now was this


    7am- Apple
    9am- ? ( someimes i eat at this time and times i dont )
    12pm- Sandwich ( 10 grain bread , mustard , 1 or 2 slices of cheese , 1 or 2 slices of turkey , spinach
    2pm Salad ( greens and cheese and mustard )
    4pm Apple or another fruit
    6pm - grilled chicken breast no bone protein only with veggies or somethingl ike that.

    and i like to run at night or just jump on the machine.

    and i like to run at night or just jump on the machine.

    You didn't get to 263lbs on that

    This is excellent diet advice. FOLLOW IT, and actually think about everything you eat. Do not cheat yourself!

    x100. You said you weren't going to sugar coat anything; tell us what your diet REALLY looks like. Maybe what you listed is what you usually INTEND to eat. Now, what do you actually eat?

    no no no no....you guys got it all wrong...i weight 263...i want to go lower....

    as in loosing weight....and thats the diet i am on i guess i have to make changes to the diet eh? and i can try to go with that advice of hunting and growing!

    ^^ I think what they were saying was: eating apples, a sandwich and chicken did not get you to 263. Perhaps there is more you are eating that you left out? That is what I think they were insinuating.

    What else are you eating? other than what you had on your list.....thanks.

    ^^ okay. Well the diet you posted is not very good to be honest. You actually need to eat more food than what you listed plus make better choices.

    Do you have a stove? are you in a dorm or home? ie: can you cook?

    new Hamster....you can lose weight and get in shape if you want it bad enough. Twist said it was like a job...and that is so true. For me, that would be a second job. The first one pays the bills and the second one that keeps me healthy. Cardio is my best buddy at my second job.

    Don't get discouraged. First month is a pain once you get your diet straightened out. Your diet, the new one, needs some work. Watch what fluids you are taking. Anything other then water and diet soda are hidden calories that add up fast. I would rather chew my food, so I limit wine to one glass, if that, a week. BUT.....You will feel some much better come the end of the year if you start now.
