I've been jogging in the last week or so and my upper thighs gets little sore. i was wondering if its still ok to workout legs, or should i do light cardio maybe a day or two prior to leg day?

well if its in upper thighs, could be hip flexors
you can still work your legs just stretch them out (hip flexors) before you do
Yes it's fine, it's just hitting different muscle area you are not use to and you are doing massive reps compared to working out only doing under 20 reps and heavier weight unless you are running with a 200lb back pack on your back.![]()
Yes you can train your legs then. I personally run less on my leg day![]()
