That doesn't suprise me one bit. It's not worth the risk eating in China if you are a professional athlete.
kawi, i know you are in the food industry, why would you want to give a cow/pig clenbuterol? i understand what it does for humans, but how would that be beneficial to livestock? wouldn't one want to pump it with rGH or something to that manner. just wondering why the clen.
Does this have something to do with bio-accumilation/magnification?
For example, if a tuna eats some plankton that has mercury in it, the level of mercury increases in the tuna. If a shark then eats the tuna, the mercury level rises again. If a person eats that shark, the level of mercury from plankton to human has increased hugely.
I'm just taking a guess, and asking if that's why elevated levels of clen can be found in athletes that have consumed livestock that have had this steroid artificially administered.
No different reason than why we take. Bronchiol dialator...muscle to fat ratio (I know...odd in swine), but its used in more livestock than pigs.
