IM Injection

Hello All,

Fortunately I live in a country where most (maybe all) steroids are legal and can be obtained legally from a qualified pharmacist.

I gave myself my first injection of Testosterone Propionate in my left outer thigh muscle today. I have had many glut injections of testosterone given by nurses (I've been under Hormone Replacement Therapy for many years).

I followed the advice of my pharmacist and used a 27 gage 1 inch needle to inject 1cc (100mg of test) and had absolutely no pain. I did feel a cool feeling that I have never felt before.

I'm sure I hit the muscle but is there any way to know if the testosterone was injected into fat or subq?

27g is not the proper one to do it, Test is oil base and difficult to go in the muscle, try a 23g next time, and 1 1/2 inc is the best, usually we don't have much fat in the thigh, you may reach the muscle with 1 inc.

Thanks for your imput. I just came back from the pharmacy where I bought the 23g 1 1/2 inch needles.

just by feel, dont worry if it was sub-q the test will still absorb but if it crystalized itll be sore for a long fking time

I agree with the 23G suggestion, wouldn't go higher than 25G. Also, remember to go in at about a 45 degree angle. You'll be hurting pretty good if you hit the bone!

Thanks for the replies. I've done my second injection with a 23g 1/12 inch needle. It was a little painful but nothing to complain about. The Pripoinate is only 1 cc and I have enough for 9 weeks. After that the last three weeks will be with 2 cc. of Cypionate. My wife has a friend who is a Registered Nurse and she will give me those injections. Cyprionate is what my doctor gives me but he mixes it with Xylocaine so it doesn't hurt. I don't have Xylocaine so I think it best to let a nurse do the shots........in the glutts of course.
