The word is, that there hasn't been a recorded case of steroids DIRECTLY causing someone to die, but there has been evidence of them being a contributing factor, along with a pre existing condition. This is just a so called fact i have heard many times, and i don't know how true it is.

Bodybuilders that get ill or have died do so usually from the other drugs that are available such as insulin, diuretics, stimulants etc etc.

As with most drugs, side effects are generally dose dependent so don't abuse steroids and they 'shouldn't' abuse you.

i have heard this too. 9/10 who die and are on steroids are usually always on harder drugs or depression meds as well or even alcohol. the report on anabolic deaths every year in the u.s is only 3. more people dies from an overdose of vitamins??

All the research I've seen suggest that as long as you are a HEALTHY, ADULT, MALE then steroids are safe as long as you don't abuse them. It is a fact that certain ones do lower good cholestoral while raising the bad though.
