Have you experienced an increased resting heart rate on test e? In the 110 bpm range

Hello.. I started my test e cycle 26 days ago. I am 30years old, 6'1, 185lbs (was originally 172 lbs.) I noticed earlier this week that my heart rate is beating very quickly while resting. I went to the doctor and had an ekg as well as an ultrasound and a stress test, all of which came back perfect.

I have cut out almost all sodium from my diet, no caffeine, and I don't smoke. Have any of you experienced an increased resting heart rate of 100+ beats per minute while on your cycle? If so, any recommendations as to what I should do next would be very helpful.

    Thank you!

If the doctor did all that stuff, it's probably just anxiety then. Chill out, you're going to be alright. Feel better?

Good point Honkey Kong! I'd hate to have to stop the cycle as I'm just starting to see some gains!

agreed^^^ even on 100mg/wk I hae a noticeable increase in body temperature(which is normal), and HR can increase in response to this, couple that with chronic anxiety and it will increase even higher

It's like a break in period, I had crazy high RHR when I had first started using it goes away over time
IMO it's from the extra weight, water retention and anxiety due to hormonal upset as a result of excess androgen's

Supplement wise take magnesium/potassium and loads of water
If you can get your hands on a first generation oral antihistamine it can help with the anxiety
    & up your AI/SERM dosage

And don't avoid your sodium completely it's important for the heart

Cut the dosages and just throw in the towel after a few weeks if it's not improving

Thank you everyone for posting, you guys are awesome. I feel a lot better knowing that this isn't some "rare" complication. I actually feel great right now, but I'm sure you all can understand my concern with the importance of heart health. @PK-V: I will definitely increase the water consumption as well as the magnesium/potassium! Thanks!

How so, diphenhydramine and ketotifen are in this catagory and I don't know of any anxiolytic properties associated with them?

I am not aware of any formal clinical trials of diphenhydramine for anxiety, but since it fulfils the pharmacological definition of an SSRI it should, on pharmacological grounds, be usable for the same indications. Administration should only be used as a temporary solution whilst he irons out his problems it should not be used as a mask. Of course better solutions are out there. But ease of access makes first gen sedating antihistamines favorable.

Could be the water retention increasing your blood pressure, which in turn would make your heart beat faster. If it gets worst, try a diuretic tea or a lasix. Also 80mg aspirin is always good to take on cycle as it thins the blood and eases pressure on the heart.

I don't think it's your blood pressure being high. If that were a problem, when you saw the doctor for the EKG and whatnot, he would've spotted it immediately. I think it's just a little anxiety. Here is a quick home remedy for anxiety. Put some milk on the stove and get it warm and have a nice cup of that. It's one of those comfort things that always works.
