    soreness after first shot

i just started my first cycle this week of 500mg test e, planning on going for 12 weeks. my first shot was monday morning in my quad and it didnt hurt at all but all of yesterday and today the soreness was terrible. will the soreness become less and less as your body gets more used to the shots? and how do u lift legs if it is really that sore to the point of hurting to walk?

I think as a shot drains from the injection site it gets into virgin muscle terroritory which is why you'll experience reference pain down (gravity) from where you inject the 2-3 days afterwards. A cardio session might be in order if your legs are sore from the inject, but weight training perhaps not. Working out the area lightly / rubbing the injection site helps me.

i know why the shot will cause soreness and i know that it will be there, but once the muscle is no longer a "virgin muscle" will the pain be less and lifting my normal amount be easily doable again? i dont want my lifting to suffer when it shouldnt have to

the soreness will become less intense after a few shots in that muscle.. Are you splitting your 500mg in to 2 shots?
It should subside in a few days.. I usually jump on the bike at the gym for 5-10 min and it seems to help quite a bit to ease the soreness.. A few days before its time for legs, I'll shoot in my glutes.. doesn't seem to be as painful as quads and affects my leg workouts less

after your shot, lay down on a couch with your leg resting on the top of the couch, so the juice will go in your upper body instead of going in your knee, stay in this position for 20 min

Try ice n heat on the area if its still sore.. helped me a bit.. I went 15 min on 15 off

i guess that makes sense. for my job i do a lot of walking around so after walking for a few minutes the soreness does tend to go away.

Its normal bro. It becomes less noticeable. What's crazy is that it won't get sore every time either. You may pin on the other leg in almost the same area and may not feel anything.

heheheh...sorry doesnt really work like that because the whole point of having a longer ester like the one in tes e is its slow release. So elevating or rubbing does not help the oil move thru ought your body.Only time does this...

To OP, I personally havnt experienced any pain during or after injection with tes. make sure you are following strict protocol as far as using sterile products and a clean work area so you dont get infection in site.

oh yea im following very strict protocol making sure everything is totally sterilized and even using gloves. its not really pain, its more like soreness that you would get the day after lifting a muscle for the first time in a couple weeks. so it is definitely not a hinderance but i can see how lifting legs in a few days might be iffy if it stays that sore
