Hi Gents,
Im a 32 year old ex athlete considering my first cycle. Im no longer playing professionally but wanting to regain that sense of euphoric fitness and strength. My body is feeling the affects of 15 years of almost daily physical activity, and along with several major knee operations, I've had dozens of joint injuries that have remained with me since my teens. On the trusted advice of other older athletes I am now close to taking this step.
But first I was hoping to hear from a few experienced posters about the pros and cons of someone my age and history in starting this line of action.
Outside of muscle growth, what are some other benefits in growth hormones/steroid usage ? I presume that due to the strengthening of surrounding muscles- my joints might appreciate a little less pain ?...Or does the increase of heavier loading in the gym due to strength increases actually put further wear and tear on my joints ?
And any other information you think someone in my position should take on board before going ahead.
Thank you, and I really would appreciate hearing from people who have similar experience in starting fairly late in the game like me.
