It would depend on your diet and training programme.

impossible to say, like asking how long a piece of string is.

    alot of variables at play

Good choice of Test. But ur diet plays just as big a role as ur gear, if not bigger. 3000 cal is not much of a bulking diet, (unless ur sedentary, in which case u will b putin on the rong kinda bulk) most bulking diets are @ or above 5000 cal a day, & of coarse it has 2 b good cals, proteins, carbs, etc......& then theres ur lifting regime. Ur results depend on ur dedication & ur personal genetics bro, no 2 people will get the same results. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

i disagree with this, i hover at 200-210lbs and can gain weight on 3500cals pd easily. some of these mega cal diets are over the top in my experience

Metabolism isn't really even half of it. I've seen people who are carb sensitive bulk on 2500 calories who are 6ft 190+lbs.

Hard to say bear tbh, but as you rightly pointed out and I failed to, its down to the person, 5000 may be optimal to an ectomorph whereas it could put fat on the the other two body types.

Yea I am definitely an endomorph so at 3000 I was putting on about 1lb per week for te last 3 weeks. My diet is clean no processed foods, tons of chicken, veggies, whole grains etc. Routine is 5 days a week restin wednesday and Sunday. Doing chest, back, shoulders, arms, legs and abs.
But yea I'll just feel it out as far as cals go and of I can be packing on more weight I will up the calories.

Just kinda gotta tweak your diet as you go to find out what works the best for you. Some people gotta cram 5k cals per day, where some only need 3k. Im an endomorph, so I can usually bulk with about 3500 cals a day at 215lbs. If you feel you are gaining too much, tweak it down. If you dont see much gain, tweak it up.

I've been bulking on 2750-3000 cals and I had to taper it up to that over a period of 10 weeks, any quicker and the excess cals turned to fat, started cycle at 182lbs and finished at 211lbs, now sitting at 208lbs a week and half into PCT (after reducing cals a little to shed a bit of fat). My plan now is to lose 1lb a week to get to 200lbs. so all in all my cycle will have gained me 18lbs lean.

Ill just answer the question for the guy.

i gained 25 pounds on my first cycle which was sustanon. I kept about 10. I didn't run a proper PCT. i was young and stupid.
Make sure your under at least 18%. If you over this you will be doing more harm than good.

just cos you gained doesnt mean he'll gain the same, so no need for the sarcastic post, we are trying to educate him.

I think you should concentrate more on ensuring your gains are lean and that you keep your cals up post cycle rather than aiming for a particular weight. otherwise you may get disappointed rather than happy with what you ve got or gained.

I have always believed that measurments after PCT r the best indicator of a successful cycle. Weight varies too much, and most of it can be water anyway. If I add a 1/2" to my biceps, and an inch to my chest and legs AFTER PCT, I am happy. Don't really care about my weight that much.
