    DB vs BB for chest

    I'm sure this topics been beaten over and over I just have a pretty specific question.

    I usually use DB for everything aside legs and deads. I can always feel it the day after in my Chest, to break a plateau I decided to do BB for a month starting this week. I know DB isolate chest more and BB uses more muscle groups but the day after my chest feels absolutely fine but my Shoulders are friggen shot to sh*t.
    Is it Normal to have this serious of soreness in my should after using BB for my chest workout?

    BB was the cause of my rotators going bye bye, i can happily push 50kg DB nice and deep but anything above 80kgs on a BB and im in pain for days.

    btw, you'll still hit the same muscle grps with DB

    your form is off if your shoulders are sore the day after benching and your chest feels nothing

    BB is notorious ailing shoulders and mine are no exception. I've always preferred Db's over BB's.

    I'm speaking as a 51 year old man with painful shoulders. Dumbbells are much kinder on the joints than barbells are and eventually everyone reaches my age. Be wise and get old with all your joints intact: use dumbbells.
