    Cool Arm SIZE Question !!!

I know this is a very generic question, and arm size is mainly determined by your genetic make up and other factors, but i was wondering how much net weight would one have to add to the whole body to add maybe an inch...

for example ; i weight 190 ish at 15%bf and my arms are a hair away from 16 inchs (cold). Now how much quality weight would i have to add to my whole frame to get them to say... 17 inchs (cold), i know this is generic and that its not certain that my arms would get bigger through adding more weight, but is there a general rule of thumb for this ???

I heard every time your squat goes up so does your bench, and when your bench goes up so does your push press etc etc...

    thoughts ??? opinions ??? theorys ??? thanks

    Lol, i was being sarcastic.

Dude, i myself have been trying to hit 17 for a WHILE. Ive found that reducing bf% is much easier to do and gives the appearance of a larger arm (or any bodypart). Musculature yells alot louder then size imho.

    ^^^^ Agreed

I don't think your overall weight has much to do with it..... it's how you train, eat, and recover. My arms seemed to have exploded at one point yet my chest was still shitty. I've noticed that I seem to grow in spurts...... I don't feel like my arms, delts, lats, chest, and legs grow all at the same time.

My arms were actually my weak point years ago..... now they're too big for my chest size.... my delts are also pretty big compared to my chest.

I thought most guys left high school with 16 inch arms if they spent any time in the gym?

It's all genetics brotha. When I was 265lbs, I don't even think I hit 17" arms, but I was wearing a fvcking 54" blazer to work (RIP blazer---Haz destroyed it)

If your arms aren't growing change your routine, hit them separately with some basic intense training exercises and routines. If your consistant with your attack on your arms they will grow you just have to attack them a different way than you are doing now.

Changing routine works and many guys train their biceps more than triceps and that slows down the gains.

Hitting arms with good form and weight that you can manage will do the trick.

thanks for the all the good info guys...

every workout i either up the weight to more than last time, or do more reps with the same weight as last time... obviously you can only go so far with that though...

im gonna try adding some volume training when i switch my training phases, as im training HIT at the moment, so its one set all out

its seems to be a weak point for me, my back and and rib cage are getting much bigger from all the heavy deads and squats, so my arms are kind of dwarfed if that makes sense...

its frustrating, you know when you work so hard at something for so long and seem to get knowhere lol, makes me wanna fill em with synthol haha, jk i wont be doing that ...

I gotta thank marcus..... I started doing a lighter weight concentrated curl that he recommended and it definately helped with my peak. Thanks big guy

For the record..... I think Marcus takes the cake for biggest arms on the board..... if not for the overall biggest guy.
