    diet on cycle

so im currently on week 2 of my cycle of 500mg test e. i am 5 foot 7 inches, 186lbs. i have been eating 3000cal a day but was thinking about possibly lowering that to do a bit more of a recomp as opposed to a massive gain, think 3000 is a good number for my size though? thoughts?

I thought you would've taken all the advice and chosen to not cycle or get dialed in with dieting first before using steroids. I guess I was wrong.

well i know what im doing for my diet. but i more of want an opinion as to stay at 3000cal and keep mass gaining, or do a recomp. i know how to do both just figuring out which one would work better so i dont wast my time and money on cycle

I'd want to bring bodyfat down before trying to add mass. 3000 calories at your stats definitely won't accomplish that. Do you have pics you can post? You say you're 12 - 14% which isn't that high, but something tells me you're higher than you think.

well i got my bodyfat measured at the gym i go to about 2 weeks ago and they said it was 11% but i think it may be a bit higher so i say 12-14%.

How did they measure? Calipers i'm sure, but how many points did the measure?

There's your problem. 3 points is useless, 5 isn't much better. You need to get pinched with at least 7, preferably 9 or better.

I was pinched at my gym a couple of years ago when I KNOW I was around 16-17% and was told I was 12%. I walked away shaking my head - they should have known I wasn't 12% just by looking at me, let alone using calipers.

ok well i can see abs. if i had pictures i would put them up but i dont right now. do u think that while on test it would be better to just gain some mass at 3000 or do a slow recomp setup at 2750? i can really tweak my diet either way, just dont wanna waste my time and money on this.
