I've been reading for a while a finally decided to join. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes after I got out of the Navy last year. Had all the symptoms but wasn't educated on the subject. I had lost 50 lbs. (down to 170) but I thought it was from being back home at altitude in Denver, working out more and working on my house while I was trying to find work. Anyway, I've had a hard time since diagnoses. I gained 25 lbs. back within 2 months, most of which was probably water since I was soooo dehydrated when I was dx'd. I'm researching AARs to help me make the gains I want. I'm in good shape. I lift 3-4 days a week. I'm naturally athletic, I ran a 5k in 22:40 about two weeks ago. I have had lower back problems since lifting improperly in high school. About once a year the doc will prescibe me a medrol dose and I feel 18 again. My hip sockets hurt occasionally and I'll take a emergen-c joint health which fixes the problem. I've tried hundreds of supplements over the years with minimal results. I'm ready for a change. Anyway, sorry for the long post. Love the info I've found so far!
