I dont hav any personal exp with it, but a good friend of mine wuz diagnosed with congestive hart failure & that is 1 of his meds. A Google search sez its also good 4 hi blood pressure. I would research the side effects (if any) b4 using any though.

I think u may hav misunderstood me, the Lasix didn't cause the hart failure, its the med he wuz put on after being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. And yes, Markosterone, it does "drain" ur body, its designed that way due 2 its use as a C.H.F. remedy (2 get rid of the congestion)

Guys: if you don't understand the first thing about a drug, at least read the wikipedia article on it so that you have an idea of what it is before asking for/giving advice.

OP: why are you interested in Lasix? I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a serious competitor (pro level) or you are prescribed it for CHF or the like. Loop diuretics are extremely potent and can kill you if used improperly. They will throw off your electrolytes, so they need to be carefully monitored through bloodwork and adjusted.

Make sure to get your potassium with your lasix, look up potassium sparring diuretics. Like diazide

Why are you concerned with lasix? Are you competing? Dyazide is the way to go if you are. If not, you don't need any of that stuff.
