Anyway, Google Music is different from iTunes. It's not a service to purchase music, rather it acts like a server for YOUR music that you already own. You upload your entire library to Google Music, and then you can access that library from anywhere you have internet access. You download the application to your device (Android or iOS) and stream your music over your data connection. I use my phone to do that, so I was able to cut an extra device out of the shit I have to carry around on a daily basis. So I can use my phone to access all of my music and at the same time I don't have to use the local storage on my phone.
Also for anyone who wants an invite, right now Google Music is in beta and I think it only works in the US.
