Hi im Jules from central coast, NSW, Australia.
I'm new here. Im 24yo.
Ive been working out since about Feb-March.
The September prior, i lost one of the boys due to TC orchiectomy.
Before that happened id been working out for a year too, *hit reset button*.
So, since i started up again i have lost fat that i had gained (while on alot of painkillers) but havent ahieved the muscle gaining results i have wanted to achieve. I dont feel like im progressing at all anymore.
Ive noticed some signs that point me towards half (50-70%) of the man i used to be.
These include
- loss of 'drive'
- sub-par erections and orgasms and lacking sex drive.
- more breasty looking pecs
- less able to exert myself in physical exercise
- hot flashes in my chest now and again (once every few days)
- less healthy looking in the face
- get alot more depressed than pre-orch.
These things are severly effecting my quality of life atm, through depression, lack of confidence, not wanting to date etc.
Oh btw i forgot to mention, im all good cancer-wise, no sign of it coming back, getting my year checkup very soon.Should be fine heres hoping.
Since ive been working out again ive been eating healthy (always have), though sleeping average (6/10), eating boiled eggs or whey protein shake after workouts. Ive been using creatine pre-workout. The creatine does have abit of a negative impact on my sleep sometimes.
I try to progress in weight but as i said ive not been succeeding.
I workout 3-4 times a week normally chest/shoulders/arms/back.
I have two brothers round the same age, the one i was always bigger than me is taking over me.
But basically, i have been thinking that low testosterone has been causing all my shortfalls and signs i mentioned above. So i got my GP to test me and scored 16.4 nmol/L for my Total T. He said that is normal within the 11-32 range. I showed him a chart which showed for my age 24 is normal, he said he hadnt heard of it being indexed by age. He directed me to an endocrinologist. I put that off for a while as im a povo student again now at uni. But i eventually went last tuesday and he also said that it is not indexed and that there is alot of "misinformation" on the internet. If hedve showed me a chart which showed all the ages with constant T then id be more likely to believe him. Anyhow, he at least got me tested again, this time T, SBHG and something else (cant remember). I asked him if i should need to test estrogen, he said no. I havent got the results back yet, should be in this week coming sometime.
So basically, what im getting at is that doctors arent saying what i wanted them to say "here take a controlled biologically equivalent testosterone supplement/shot/whatever and well try to get you into your average 24 number safely while monitoring it, as opposed to the average number for 80/90yo's (which is what the indexed chart i found suggested).
So, pending my results coming back and most probably the doctors not wanting to help me, i either want to try a legal Testosterone boosting product or a real androgenic steroid course (legal or not).
- I have no idea what is the best thing to try and where to get it.
- I havent ever tried any T products.
- Direct me please as to what you think i should do/try?
- As stated, i dont have much money, so ill need the best bang-for-buck suggestions.
ps. dont just direct me to diet information. i have a sound diet.
