Buying a snow blower this weekend - need opinions/reviews!!!!

I'm SICK and TIRED of shoveling! I'm finally gonna break down and buy a snow blower this year, i can't handle another NJ winter and 2-3ft. snow like we've been getting.

I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction - I am looking for a 2 stage gas snow blower, none of that electric crap. Also want something powerful, and big - 24" minimum.

Note I will be buying this on my Home Depot card, so I can only get a brand they carry. Some they carry: Toro, Ariens, Poulan Pro (bought one of their leaf blowers and it sucks, so they're out), Honda/Briggs & Stratton, Cub Cadet, Snow Beast...

    Help!!!

Your snowblower just might need more hp...I believe your humidity would make for heavy snow...here we have a drier snow...a tad easier to move (most times)

lol, I know - but this has been my mentality for the past 3 years, and it's fvcking snowed FEET!! I jammed my arm shoveling last winter and was fvcked in the gym for several months... can't have that happen again now.

If it doesn't snow, so be it - i'll have it for the future - it'll bring me peace of mind if nothing else!

you guys get alot of wet snow right?? then a 2 stage is mandatory..

always put seafoam or other stabilizer in the fuel before you put it in the machine, it will make starts a lot easier..

Toro makes a good snowblower. I have this one.

I snow plow though so it doesn't really get used.

Have you looked into snow blower services? how much does it cost to hire someone to do it vs how often you would use it? Yeah where you are you do get a lot of snow so it may be worth it. Also think about storage and a good insulated cover when you are not using it. You can use a BBQ cover, it may be cheaper? Agree 100% with the stabil. I need to go winterize my Jet skis in the next couple of weeks. Ill drain most of the gas first and put it in my truck. Stable helps but no need letting 10+ gal of gas sitting in them.

I love the dog vs snow blower picture. LOL I think the dog is having to much fun. Same thing they do with water when it's sprayed.
