    Alcohol question

Im trying to bulk at the moment. But i also go to uni, and you know parties, keggers, clubs etc all of that involves heavy drinking. i havent drank in about 2 months. I made a good progress so far gaining weight and i dont wanna loose any. My question is: what would slow my muscle gains more, hard liquor( vodka, rum etc) or beer?

Alcohol in general is linked to muscle break down. But if u had to and u wanted to watch your daily macro's I would just go with vodka and soda water... My favorite

If your going to drink on a regular basis, dont waste your time attempting to gain muscle. Alcohol helps you gain fat by triggering that particular metabolite. To have a drink occasionally is fine but drinking regularly is going to hurt your bodybuilding. Good luck mate.

LOL. That chart is interesting but actually pretty useless because alcohol has 7 calories per gram so liquor with a higher alcohol content has more alcohol and thus more calories. It's inescapable, 7cal per gram of alcohol, regardless of which drink you choose..

The only thing that chart really shows is all the extra calories from the added ingredients (not alcohol) in all the different drinks.
