    Getting a dog

Hey, I had a Rotty a couple years back that passed away, and finally came to it to get another.

What I was looking at is a 4 month old Rottweiler Male. AKC certified and all the shots, Im going to go look at him soon. What I'm worried about though is if he is too old and will not have the tight bond to the owner? And might already have developed habbits that cant be changed? The last one I had was a puppy when I got him.

    Thanks!

You won't have any problems training a 4month old puppy, we adopted a 3 year old hound, she wasn't the best dog chewed everything. Now she is the best behaved dog we ever had. It's all about proper training. We learned all our training from the Internet. Best of luck, remember dog is mans best friend they want to please you!!!

Age is not an issue when it comes to forming a bond with a human, the issue is whether the human will put in the time required for that bond to develop.

Go for it dude, dogs rock.

I wish I still had my Rott. Wife made me get rid of him when we had our son. Would love to get another one. Never had one problem out of him.
