    fat burning cycle

would like some insight on a fat burning cycle.

    some info:

(just some exaxmples of where my strength is at)
    db bench press - 90lb'ers for 5
    military - 130lb for 5
    bicep curl - 80lbs for 8
incline leg press - 200lbs for 10 (cant squat cos of fused hip)
sldl - 200lbs for 7 (cant do conv for same reason)

    weight - 160lbs
    height - 5 7"
    bf - 14%
    age - 24
been in the gym for 5 years.

my aim isn't to be much bigger than i am now in terms of size measurements but rather lower my bodyfat on a cycle yet also hope to gain some lean mass.

i would be taking test prop for 8 weeks with proper pct.

obviously my diet would determine a lot of my results but just wondering what kind of results this could yield given my diet is in check for fat loss plus some minimal lbm gains.

Your goals are very achievable with out the use of steroids. Its all diet bro

i cant stick to a diet 7 days a week, i need to be able to enjoy my life aswell get somewhere with my aesthetic goals. note how long i've been working out for. i just want it and i want it now! my reasoning for doing this has nothing to do with the face that i could do it without roids. this is just what i want.

i've seen an amazing transformation on bb.com of someone only eating 3 meals a day with one of the meals being pizza. if he can do it, so can i, and i want to.

Regardless of whether you are using steroids or not they are not magic. With out proper diet you will not achieve what your looking for.

i can diet properly monday to friday at about 90% efficiency. i believe that will be good enough to get more out of 8 weeks than i have in the last 5 years.

Its your choice but IMHO. Your cycle will be a disappointment and you will lose the gains that you make after pct if you don't have the diet dialed in first.

i never not hit my protein mark and always eat enough it's just the gains im lacking. will i really be that disappointed if im only expecting small lbm gains and significant stubborn fat loss? im not trrying to get swole im just trying to leap frog my slow gains so i can cruise.

cardio is very difficult for me as i have a fused hip. so u can see my predicament.

but i want to be doing HIIT twice a week or hitting the bag 3 times a week to failure. after a small trial i've found hitting the bag to be very similar to HIIT if done at maximum intensity.

That is a bummer bro. You will have to find a way to get your heart rate up preferably right after you lift to burn the extra calories to loos BF.

You really should hit up the diet forum. eating clean works for some but for most of us we require more than that. To reach your goals you should be eating at least 5 or 6 good quality meals per day. Each meal should be planned out with the correct amount of pro/carb/fat. Once you do this your body will change dramatically. also each meal should be between 2 1/2 to 4 hours apart never go more than 4 hours without eating. Personally i never push passed 3 hours without food.

ok well thats the next step then i will calculate my macros and see where that takes me. i guess i've always believe if other people can do it without checking macros i can too. but still thats kind of why im here. i've spent 5 years doing a lot of things the wrong way and i feel like it warrants me getting an advantage, i know u will disagree but i highly doubt people take roids because theyve been doing everything by the book.

have u taken them? if so why?

Trust me bro the folks that are in great shape most count there macros. I did not consider using aas until i had my diet and training down for many years. I had done all of my research and had a very good grasp on what i was doing. Steroids can really mess you up if they are not used correctly. You have the rest of your life to cycle and i know how tempting it can be but once you get the diet down you will be able to maximize your gains!!

i appreciate your advice i will check my macros and adjust accordingly then report back with results.

note when i mentioned about having a life, just to mention a few things about sticking to a diet like that 5 days a week let a lone 7.

    shitting 3 times a day
destroying the toilet for my housemates
being embaressed around girls farting like a mad man
taking pre-prepared meals to friends/girls houses
getting stressed cos ive missed meals cos i've been out riding all dayw with nowhere to keep a meal
    etc etc

Join a gym with a pool and start swimming. Killer cardio without the impact on the hip joint.

why does everyone automatically think my diet is crap. i eat muesli cos i refuse to eat oats, i cant see anything wrong with 3 veg/rice/chicken/coconut milk for my pre prepared meals. theres nothing wrong with turkey mince on w/grain bread it even has a lot of good fats. theres nothing wrong with mass gain protein shake or apples.

i dont get where u think ive gone so far wrong except for not checking macros. im deffinately eating more than enough protein, im eating enough calories (progress is still slow but thats just my genetics) im eating a lot of carbs, plenty of good fats.

Theres 1 of the bigger problems rite there. If u cant make gains on ur current intake, then ur NOT eating enuf.

your basal metabolic rate (what you would burn laying in bed all day) might be 1800 calories, then you have to figure in your activity level.... if u train 5-6 times a week its going to put your resting metabolic rate around 2700-2800 calories now that is just what you need to maintain. then you have to figure that an extra 500 calories a day to that will add 3500 calories every week (3500 calories = 1 pound) they recommend aiming for between 1-2 lbs of gain a week so you dont gain too much fat... dunno if u have a smart phone but if you do there is an app called my fitness pal, its on android and apple store and you can keep up with your calories even helps me stay away from taking in too much sodium, can put in whatever ratio u wanna keep to ive heard 40/35/25 is good but its all dependent on goals
