    First real cycle for comp.

    I am 5'10 187 at 9.1% BF. Have been up to 202lbs and have been at 7.9%bf both at different times of course.

    I just got word from a BB buddy of mine that I will be in a amateur comp for the first time this coming may. I have gyno surgery scheduled for feb and I should have ample time to recover from it.

    I am looking to gain about 20 lbs which I am confident I will achieve with my diet and training. I will be posting my weight changes weekly and updating my lifts daily (well on days I workout anyways). This is more of a thread for me to look back at and see what happened and when it happened than anything else.

    My first cycle was about a year ago. I took prop and tren a which was adviced by my older bro. I ran 450test 350tren for 3 weeks at which point I stopped because I could not handle the sides from the tren. I gained 14 lbs in that time.

    I was advised by my BB buddy this cycle:
    Week 1-14Test 800
    Week 1-12Deca 600
    Week 1-10Tren 500
    Week 1-4 Dbol 50mg
    Week 8-12 Winny 50mg

    Seems like too much stuff for me even if I am gonna be competing. Plus I dont know if I ever wanna touch tren again. He already got this stuff for me and the vials are sitting here right beside me but I don't want to take all of that.

    What I wanna do is this:
    Week 1-14 T400 600mg
    Week 1-12 Deca 450mg
    Week 1-4 Dbol 25mg

    He is saying it is foolish to do a cycle like this without winny as I need that hardness. I am thinking about doing t3 on cycle at 50mcg and holding off on the winny. At the end of my cycle and after surgery if I feel I need winny I will take it but I would like to keep substances to a minimum. I don't plan to make this my only cycle so I dont wan't to build a tolerance and have to use more gear next time.

    So even though I firmly believe my cycle is much better than his idea he is not gonna get off my case until some people agree with me.

    I also attached two pictures of myself. I wont be posting a picture of my front until before comp time because of the gyno. I also will not be posting pics of my legs because I strained my right hammy and dislocated my left knee within the past 3 months so they are lacking a bit but again I will post them before comp. I will post full on before and after pics.

    The pics are of my back and my bicep. My avi is me as well.

    I started logging about 3-4 days ago. Took my first dbol 2 days ago, today is my third day on dbol. I was going to start test deca same day but I bought the wrong size needles so I will start test deca today. Will inject 300mg test and 225 deca. Also will be starting t3 at 75mcg today or tmr.

    Today I worked out legs after almost a month. I was quite happy with my workout, my legs haven't been 100% in the past 3 months but I think I am fully recovered now.

    I did deep squats 225 5x5 with 90s rest between sets. Hack squat of 3 plates a side for 6 reps.

    Shoulder workout:
    Smith machine shoulder press 2 plates and 2.5lb a side 5x5 with 90 second rest. (Will increase weight by 2.5lbs a side next workout.
    Arnold press 50lb x10 x10 x8 (Will increase weight when I can do 10 reps each set).

    Arm workout:
    Tricep bench 205 5x5 90s rest (Will up to 210 next workout)
    I don't log biceps because sometimes I train high reps and sometimes low so it gets confusing logging them.

    Back:
    Deadlift 275 5x5 90s rest. (Will up to 285 next workout)
    DB row 130lbs x8 x7 140x3 (DB rows will be swapped out for machine rows)

    Chest:
    Flat BB 225 5x5 90s rest (Will up to 230 next workout)
    Incline DB 75x11 x8 x7 60s rest

    My next workout is chest tomorrow. Will attempt 5x5 on flat with 230. Every other exercises besides 5x5 is always done with 60 second rest. 5x5 is done with 90s rest.

    Todays workout I was able to bench 230 5x5 which is a 5lb increase from last time.
    Last workout I did Incline DB press with 75 x11 x8 x7. This workout was 75x12 80x8 80x5, so that was an increase as well.

    Have a minor set back now as I had a bad reaction to a deodorant I was using. Had to leave the gym half way thru my workout because the stnging was really bad in the arm pits especially while trying to do flyes. Got prescribed cortisol cream and some other cream and should be good in a week just in time for my next chest workout!!!

    Will attempt flat bench 5x5 with 235 next week and incline db press with 85 or maybe even 90s. I didn't realize how much harder it was too lift heavy weights while only taking 60 second of rest but man I feel like im doing cardio when im lifting weights... Always out of breath and sweating like a pig lol.

    I am not sure I would run a 14 week cycle 6 months from a first show. Are you going to skip PCT then run another cycle up to the show?

    Truthfully I just wanted to get my cycle done before gyno surgery so I didn't really think like that. I was planning on taking winny a month or 6 weeks out from show.

    I'm not planning on winning this comp, it is more to get my feet wet and get familiar with the setting.

    Probably not the best plan but I was looking to get to atleast 200 off this so my size would look comparable atleast to the rest of the competitors.

    Should I skip pct and go into a full on cycle before show? Or should I take it easy for this show as planned and go hard for my next comp?

    lol thanks man. I don't consider them big tho, only 16.5' flexed. No one ever believes they're under 17' I guess the definition, and semi low BF helps with that look ahah

    I was able to do a 5x5 with 285lbs on deadlift. I took 90 second break in between sets as usual. The only workout I record for back is deadlifts because my other exercises are more for tiring my muscles out and getting a good pump so depending on the day I could be doing heavy weight or light weights.

    Yesterdays workout was chest and shoulder because I had to skip shoulder day. For chest I Flat benched 235 5x5 with 90s rest. DB incline with 75x12 and 85x6 x5.

    For triceps I was able to close grip bench press 210 for 5x5 with 90s rest.

    So In about 10 days I am up 5 lbs on tricep bench, and 10lbs on both deadlifts and Flat bench press. I have only been able to workout arms once so I'm confident all three will be up 10lbs by the end of the 2 week mark.

    I am only up 1.5lbs but I feel much bigger I guess its cause of the pump from dbol. I expected more of a weight gain but it seems the t3 at 75mcg is not only holding off water gain but also leaning me out even more, I feel the way I did when I was at 7.9%BF but a little bigger. I am quite happy with the gains so far.

    Havent updated for a while..

    For smith shoulder press I am up to 2 plates and 7.5lb per side. Which is 10 lbs up.

    For Deadlifts I am up to 295 which is 20lbs up.

    For flat I got to 240 which is 15 lbs up. But now I went down to 225 and am touching my chest. Will attempt 230 next workout.

    Every workout I will add 5 lbs if the last week is successfully completed (5x5) If I feel stronger that day I will up by 10lbs.

    Going pretty good so far.. Not feeling bloated and actually feel leaner (maybe its the t3?) And I am now up 5.5 lbs.
