    Breakfast??

So i work early mornings at 4:00, usually get up around 3am, but have a hard time eating eggs before i leave for work at 3:45. I just can't seem to down that much in the amount of time. I usually have a bowl of kashi golean and a peanut butter whole wheat english muffin. I am really just looking for some other good alternatives to get a good amount of protein at breakfast...and thoughts?

Well, pretty much ANYTHING would be a good alternative to what you're eating now. That's no kind of breakfast for a bodybuilding type diet.

Are you looking for something quick/convenient?

1/2 cup (1 serving) oats, sweeten w/ splenda and cinnamon
    add 1 - 2 scoops protein powder

or you can experiment and make a protein smoothie - that's what i've been having every morning for a few months now, look forward to it every day!

I'm up at 430am and have 1 cup egg whites and 3/4 cup oatmeal blended with some frozen blueberries and strawberries.

    Workout

PWO shake 40g protein powder, 1tbs coconut oil and 3/4 oatmeal blended

Then before I leave for work have (about 30-45min after pwo shake)

4 whole eggs on top of a slice of ezekial bread with some low fat swiss cheese with a serving of low fat chicken or turkey sausage and a grapefruit

I like to have oat pancakes with raspberries for breakfast midweek, (3 whites 1 whole + 50g oats) I make the mixture up the night before to save time in the morning, I've been looking for some sugar free syrup to go with then but the supermarkets here in the UK don't seem to keen on sugar free products! Or I'm just blind

Scrambled eggs + porridge on the weekend for a little variety

yeah quick/convenient and good amount of protein. i like this idea. i actually do have oatmeal with flax, protein, and some type of berry as well. it's really just the eggs i can't get down that early in the morning. sometimes i take a breakfast wrap (eggs/turkey bacon/cheese) to work and have it about 5am.

Sunday is my meal prep day...so I have food prepped for fast n easy all week.

I make a huge batch of 10grain or flaxseed banana walnut pancakes for the teens...than each morning the pop some in microwave w/ butter till it melts, put on paper plate and eat as they walk to bus stop (or home if they have time)
There are great oat etc. pancake receipts on the site that are prob healthier for you, but its fast healthy and without butter easy to chow on in car

Tough in a supermarket, you may get some in the diabetic section. Or just google sugar free syrup avidlite

    Oat Pancakes:

1 cup oats (just regular old fashioned oats)
1 cup egg whites (about 7 large eggs)
1 cup fat free cottage cheese (or 1% if you desire)

    Splenda all you want
nutmeg, dash if you so desire
    drop of vanilla, if desired
    baking powder about 2 teaspoons

First: Blend the oats in a blender until real powdery (no water just blend dry )
Add all the above ingredients and blend until a good consistency for a pancake

Cook on griddle/pan which should be real hot after sprayed with Pam....and then cook like a regular pancake

    TOP with:
    Sugar free syrup
and banana or raspberries with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt to spread around the pancake and sprinkle some splenda on top of the yogurt
    -or-
fry an egg with Pam and top your pancake with the egg

    ENJOY!

MAKES 3 BIG PANCAKES! so good for 3 meals.
Life is too short, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly.
