Question for senior members

For arguments sake- say my friend was a member of a forum. Let's say this friend had a source but wanted to know if members have had any experience with the particular brands of a source. How would he go about this? hypothetically of course.

the member who wants to know would have to have at least 100 posts first along with 45 days of posting in good standing. Plus make sure the Mod or Vet or Hofer is "willing" to do a source check. Some are NOT willing. So make sure before ya ask.
