Yes and no. It depends on how much, and when. e.g. if you're following the widely accepted 6-8 small meals/day every 3 hours model, and have to wait 6 hours to eat a meal, you're not going to starve. You're not going to burn LBM. Your metabolism will not slow. BUT I don't know that eating 2 meals worth of food in a single sitting is the greatest idea either... kind of depends on your goal IMO.

I would say do your best to eat on a schedule. If you need to bring foods that are more convenient, do that. I'd rather see you eat a protein shake than not eat at all.

Are you asking "can I eat all my meals at once"?

Another thought - if your job requires you to go for an extended period of time without eating, you may want to look into an intermittent fasting type of plan. Look at my thread in the diet section for more info.

I tend to agree with you - just make sure you hit your daily macros. If you want to be a little more obsessive about it just establish a consistant pattern and stick to it. The body is an amazingly adaptive thing. IMO you will be fine as long as you hit your macros - nutrient timing theories fail to consider the amazing adaptive abilites that our bodies possess. 6 small meals / 3 big ones / grazing throughout the day - the end result will imo be the same.

cheers guys for the quick responce.

I don't want to eat all my meals in 1 sitting but i cant stick to for example:

    10am can of tuna
    12am 2 chicken breasts

I find it to hard to do, so i just have my bag with me on site then just pick at all the foods through out the day.

^^^ I think this is fine. As Jimmy said, hitting your macros is most important.
