WTF is wrong with my elbow???

    Hi guys,

New here. I am injured and I dont even know what's wrong! Its not tendotis. Doesen't seem like tendonosis.

If I move my hand up/down in/out, it doesent hurt. But every time I flex my bicep and try to move my hand towards my shoulder, it kills right in the elbow.

I've been off tranning for 1.5 month. WTF is wrong with me. I am going again to my doctor tomorrow; so lets see.

    But any one?

Any specific traumas? Where in the elbow does the pain seem to be coming from? Can you describe the pain?

No traumas. Prior to this being severe, elbow joint would click each time I flex the bicep.

I continued to work on the bicep. One day doing negatives with bicep curls, it got really bad. And its still bad till now.

Pain is sharp. Sometimes my middle finger twitches a little each time I flex my bicep.

the pain is right in the joint. I think its called distal bicep joint.

Sorry IB, I don't have a good answer for you. Someone will need to at least examine it to get the bottom of it, so you're doing the right thing. Just rest it and see the dr tomorrow.

same here.... comes and goes. i'm fighting through a right elbow tendon pain. DMSO/salonpaus/alleve/heating pads/tens unit all seem to help a bit. but rest is the answer in my case. not nearly as bad as the left elbow tendon injury from almost a year and half ago...

I have said it before but for anything related to elbows try Mcdavid bands. The allow you to still use the joint pain free and allow it to heal if it is anthing to do with tendons. Whiich most of the time it is.

You know what? I used one fo those for the first time last nigh when benching and I could tell a big difference. I only put it on 1/2 way through the workout and the difference was immediate. Very strange. It felt like the tendon was not being as stressed.

    Hey guys,

THanks for your replies. Just got back from the doctor and he made an appointment for Ultrasound & X-Ray for next week. So I'll keep you guys posted on the results.

Meanwhile, something interesting I noted. For the past week, I've been taking in about 4-10g of flax seed oil everyday and it has seem to made things a little bit better. I "feel" that the wound/damage/w.e it is is starting to reverse and move towards recovery. What's cool is that the arthritis association lists flax seed as one of their top joint lubricators! Google "arthritis association + flax seed" and it's the first link. I can't post a link here; yet. lol.

I have been taking glucosamine, fish oil, shark cartilage and animal flex for the past 1.5 month. Maybe its all that stuff kicking in.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.
