A tad confused

Got script yesterday of test cyp 100mg/ml.. Start wednesday..

Where the confusion starts is the label says take 1 shot/ month at doc office but upon further inspection i was given 5 refills to be filled by apr 25 2012..

Now thats 50ml at 100mg/ml

Apr 25 is 6 months from now which is approx 8 shots/month to need that many refills which would put me at 200mg/week broken into 2 shots/week..

Im sure ill find out wed but was wondering if that sounds to yall like they plan on starting me at 200mg/week??? Cuz at 1shot/month woukdnt even put me close to needing 5 refills ..

Any insight would be apprEciated..

Id also like to say theyre gonna hurry up my appt to an endo tat supposdly specializes in trt...

Im just as confused as you. I would call the prescribing doc and ask what to do.

Once a month is way too far apart. You want to do weekly or twice a week. Call your doc for clarification.

Go see someone else, my medical doctor told me that once a month will do nothing he even said once every 3 weeks is waste he even says that 2 weeks is the maximum time between shots and its best to have them every week. This is why he offered me the androgel, because he told me i had to inject myself each week. Get someone who knows what he is doing don't waiste your time.

Yeh well i will if i have to.. Hes referring me to an endo who supposedly spe ializes in trt.. I have the 10ml bottle with me anyways so ... LOL.. Nah im not gonna play with it but i know from reading on here std beginning TRT is 100mg/week... I will continue to post in here As i go thru this.. Glad to see guys in here going thru it too well not glad .. U know wat i mean.. Im hoping getn strait on test levels will help my diet and lifting program as well and more importantly make me feel better..

Talk to your doctor first and foremost about this as it is a real concern. If he has you taking cypionate once a month, however, ask him why. Because almost all medical literature out at the moment suggests cypionate should be 2 weeks or more frequently. Even after 1 week your blood level of T might be as low or lower than when you started.

Thx mate i will like i said i have appt wed which is when i start.. Theyre giving me my first shot amd i assume gonna show me how to give myself one.. Im sure itll be at least once a week.. Now if they say do 200mg/week at 1 shot /week wouldnt it be better to do 2 shots /week at 100mg/shot than 1/week at 200 mg?
