    From cutting to bulking.

    Hi.

I'm on my last leg of a cut and will start bulking soon. I've been doing the Leangains RPT workout and while I haven't really improved my lifts during my cut I haven't lost much strength along the way.

I'm a bit undecided if I should just scrap RPT completely and go with a bodybuilding type workout or if I should just continue my workout and add a few more reps/sets.

Here is what my workout looks like now:

    Mon
    Deadlift 1x4-5
Chins 2 sets to failure. (I hit 7 and 6)
    Overhead press 2x6-8 RPT
Pendlay Rows 3x5 (don't do RPT with these)
Close Grip Chins 2 sets to failure.

    Wednesday
    Barbell bench press. 2x6-8 RPT
    Dumbbell incl press 2x10-12
Barbell Curl 2x 10-12 sometimes RPT, usually just for pump.
    Skull Crushers (behind head) 2x10

    Friday
    Squat 2x6-8
Leg Curl 2x10 lately been doing GHR instead.
    Leg Extensions 2x10
Abs, two sets, lately been doing the ab wheel roll out.

with RPT the first set is a max (always try for PR) and second set is 10-20% less. Double progression method for weight weekly increases.

I'm wondering if I should just stick with this (adding sets reps) while transitioning to more calories and trying to increase these lifts or if I should do something that's more efficient at putting on muscle hypertrophy.

    Thanks

Stats: 35 y/o meso. 6 foot, Ex fatty. 183 lbs right now, 6 months on this routine.

    Maxes:
    Dead 265x4
    Squat 205x5
    bench 195x8
    OHP 145x8

they were a bit higher before my cut except for deadlift

    Hi dude,.
For gaining size of the body or any part of the body you do less raps and more weight but when you clean your body parts do more raps and less weight,.
