Depo or Cyp?

Gel was not working for me. Just got a script for Depo. Insurance is covering but Depo will cost me $150 for an 8 month supply. I read that Cyp is the generic for depo and it will only cost me $30. Any reason not to go generic?

Cyp is cypionate and refers to the ester. If its cheaper go with the generic.

Depo-Testosterone is Testosterone cypionate. Depo-Testosterone is simply the name brand drug but the generic is the exact same. I know of no reason not to get the generic. Your pharmacist should say the same thing, but be sure to ask them about it.
