Thread: is 200 grams of protein still needed even on steroids?

    is 200 grams of protein still needed even on steroids?

    So say I'm trying to reach 200 pounds with 10&bf on a month of D-bol and Winni-V.

    Do I still need 200 grams of protein? I thought steroids were supposed to make it easier to gain on less protein. But if I need 200 grams of protein anyway, are these macros good? 300 g carbs, 200g protein, 100g fat

    Would I need more carbs?

    what is you current bw? gear makes it easier to gain muscle but u still need the protein to build it. looks like your going for lean bulk??... i think you have too much fat, but i dont know if you need more carbs or protein with/o your stats

    My current bw is 185 pounds, 13-14% bf. I'm going for a lean bulk yeah.

    I wouldn't drop below 200g protein regardless of gear or not, and regardless of body weight to be honest. Yes gear can make nutrient partitioning more efficient, however you still need something to work with. With supplements/powders and such, getting enough protein in should be a non-issue.

    Your fat macro looks way high to me for a lean bulk.

    PS - your cycle consists of a month of dbol and win? What in God's name are you expecting to accomplish with that? I don't mean to sound like a dick, but you really need to do some research. This is a haphazard, misguided, potentially dangerous and useless cycle IMHO.

    It's not really a cycle, it's more like because I'm too poor to invest a lot of money on gear, I'll just do a month of d-bol + win. I understand it wouldn't be as effective as other cycles but surely it could work...

    But if you think it's actually useless, I will see what I can do about spending some more money...

    I'm less concerned about you wasting your money, and more concerned about you harming yourself. AAS are not to be taken lightly, and no offense but based on what you've gotten yourself into, it's very evident you have no idea what you're doing with regards to gear.

    My suggestion is you drop what you're currently doing. Then, instead of investing in more gear, invest in some research and get yourself educated on the topic.

    Just tough love from a concerned member bro, nothing more.

    Sorry man, I didn't realize this was hypothetical and thought you had already begun for some reason.

    A month of win and dbol won't do jack for you bro... you'll be shutting down your HPTA for virtually nothing more than a couple fun weeks of strength gain, mostly via water/bloat from dbol. That will all disappear as soon as you discontinue the gear. Trust me, BAD idea.

    How tall are you? Do you have any pics so we can see what we're working with?

    Something tells me you have plenty of time before you need to resort to AAS...

    I am just trying to learn about them as much as possible so I am prepared.

    ^^ Good idea. Spend plenty of time in the Q&A section. There are many good knowledgeable people there who won't steer you wrong.
