    Best way to burn belly fat for a lean guy

    Ok.. now I had some time off training ( 8months ) but for the last 2 months been back in full time.. my body has come back and I am looking good ( 75KG) all lean.. however whilst not training I have developed a little beer belly it seems below my belly button .... My diet is fine... All I need help on is what is the best & fastest way to lose this.... it is the only fat that is on my body .... what cardio exercises can you recommend.. why.. and for how long... at this present stage my cardio involves cross trainer for 15m X 3 days and 3 days rock climbing( intense) however I can seem to burn it off... maybe I should do it first thing in the morning??? on a empty stomach??

    First thing in the morning, fasted, and go for 45 minutes not 15.

    Agree with im8, do cardio fasted in the morning,at least 45 min becuse the first 25 min or so you are burning stored energy.All of the real fat burning potential of cardio is realized after that.

    You are going to burn it all over not just on your belly... which i'm sure you likely know already. I myself use an elliptical at home for an hour a day Sunday-Friday. It's got more to do with heartrate though. I just bought a heart rate monitor and stay around 70% max. You could add some CLA in your diet. 2,000 mg's with each larger meal 3x a day.

    CLA? Not accustomed to this abbreviation !

    Just google it... it's a fatty acid like Fish oil and is usually taken with Fish oil. It has a lot of studies done that show it helps with getting rid of fat.

    You cant spot reduce .. its like saying how can i burn body fat off one bicep. Its a all over thing, it just happens to store more in some areas than others.

    Most of the studies suggest a minimum of 3g CLA daily. They also suggest it helps maintain LBM whilst cutting.

    OP, you can do all the cardio you like but it may boil down to your cals/macro's. Post a pic and your diet in the nutrition resource section.

    yeah, that's why I said 2,000 mg (2g's) 3x a daily.
