    rapid bodyfat loss question, advice from the pros please!

    ok so im 20 years old and i have my 21st coming up in one month.. probably be going out to the bars or whatever so i want to look tip top shape..looking for advice on an intense 3 week cardio routine?


    the reason im asking is because when i played ball back in high school i remember hell week where i would loose 20 pounds in about a week and a half, made me get really rippped and cut everytime

    i bring this up because i still lifted back then before practice with the team, and i would obviously continue to do that now and am doing that now, i currently life 5 days a week one body part a day..


    so my question is aside from eating clean can you give me an intense cardio routine i can do for the next three weeks? like i said i want to look good for my 21st!! ive been doing 20 minutes of hiit training on the treadmil for the past week (45sec all out sprint, 90 sec fast walk) and im not satisfied with the results. i understand i have no patience but i want to do whatever it takes to cut down for my bday

    my stats right now are as follows

    6'1
    209lbs
    around 20% bodyfat

    you cannot lost a significant amount and maintain muscle in 3 weeks. sorry bro, if you do manage to lose 20 lbs in the next three weeks it will prolly be mostly muscle, and you wont look any better. if you have a proper diet you might lose 1-2% along with muscle, but 3 weeks is just not nearly enough time

    if you wanna get better shape then you are now i suggest you get to the diet section right now.

    3 weeks isnt long but make most what you can do

    how do you know your 20%? properly tested or off scales?

    Diet is the key mate, get tht sorted first. IMO there's not enough time to lose that much. But better start now then never. As well as the diet I would do 45mins low/med intensity fasted cardio in the morning. Then 30 mins HIIT as many times a week as possible.

    I agree with what everyone is saying...3 weeks isn't enough. Check out the diet forum, and start working on it for your 22nd. Now, I haven't seen your diet but in the meantime trying cutting your sodium way down and drink more water. It won't decrease your bodyfat, but it would make you look more flat. I've never done it myself, but my special ladyfriend does it all the time before an event. She already looks great, but any extra water retention will cause you to look bloated...she'll even take those water pill things a few days before and it does wonders for her.
