Do i need to worry about water retention at 200ml per week?

I read some of the side effects of test E is water retention, since being on TRT i guess i must have gain around 5-7 pounds, i don't look soft or anything but not sure if i have to worry about water retention.

What i have read is that it becomes more of a side effect with people who take 500mg and more per week, but so far found nothing at 200mg per week?

    1cc per week

I have never met or heard of anyone taking 200ml-500ml per week of anything.

200 mg is high for a hrt dose, but if you feel good, well then you feel good. So don´t worry

    Some water retention is fine.

I gained 10 lbs during the first two weeks, most of that is likely water, but I feel fantastic, and look good.

Thanks Big ice that is what i gained too. I feel very good but been on TRT for only 5 weeks now so very new to this too. Guess i have to be patient for other changes in my body like at the 12 weeks mark concerning fat loss and muscle gains.

I am weight lifting right now but nothing major until i get done with my ligament laxity after that its back full time in the gym and i don't need any motivation for this the flame is still there.

^^^^^ What Jpk said. Myself I am prone to estro conversion and would bloat at 200mg hence the use of an AI

i am with JPK on this as well. water retention can lead to high blood pressure, so monitor your BP just to be sure.

I am 39, i just went from 217 to around 227-230 in about 5 weeks now. I don't feel boated or have that awful moon face. But just worried about that extra weight and my medical doctor told me that even with small dosage of test E most people who train will gain 15-20 of muscles in about 6 months.

I am at very early stage of my TRT and lot more testing will be done for sure, i was told last time by the pharmacist and my medical doctor that at my size i don't need an AI, well there will be questions to answer next time i see them for sure about this.

One can not determine the need for an AI based on body type - more likely to need it with high BF, but we have seen obese men not need it and guys with really low BF need it. Adex has always helped me avoid fluid retention.
