"HCG is for anti aging only" what??

Ok I have been on trt now for about 8 months now from my pcp.He is a good doctor but knows zero about trt like many other doctors.
So a couple weeks ago I make a appointment with a urologist in the area that works with trt.hen I spoke with a nurse that works with this doctor about if he will use HCG or AI's.She told me that if they were needed he would prescribe them.So I think fantastic this Doc knows his stuff!!
Today I go to the appointment and 2 minutes it just turns bad..First he looks at my bw and said we need to get you to a normal level just over 300!!What the hell is his guy thinking?I am at 710 now and that is a normal level!So he wants to drop me down about 400 ish.At this point I know I just pissed away a copayment and my time once AGAIN...So now I ask about HCG and this is what I get "I don't like to use that it's for anti aging only."Then he explains to me that you will not get shut down or your nuts won't shrink on a small dose of test.How is this guy a uro?
So on my way out I told the lady at the front desk I would call her to set up my next appointment.NOT!
I am just going to see if my pcp will work with doctor Crisler.Thanks guys for letting me vent.

If you PCP is willing to consult with Dr. Crisler you will be in good care.

yup you are doing a good thing by taking charge of your health. this doctor probably heard or read somewhere that hCG is used along with TRT and assumed its an anti aging drug! just the fact he thinks 710 (range 348-1197) is too high he's simply an idiot! i think Dr. Crisler should open more offices around the country.

As of now I have a pcp that I get 300 mg of cyp every 2weeks.However I do 60mg every 3.5days no HCG or AI's yet but working on that.My e2 is at 28 and feel good so I'm probably ok with no AI till I start HCG or increase my dose.I was a total mess in every way until I started my trt. Also About a year ago I got a MRI and all the bw needed to start.

So now I am waiting on a appointment with my pcp to talk with him about working with Dr.Crisler.Bass you and gdevine are right on about taking your health in your own hands.If you don't do it no one will!! And if things don't work out with my pcp it just might be time for a short flight or road trip. Thanks guys
