    deadlifting question

I normally deadlift on my back day, and I would say am fairly strong for my size, max at 500. My question is if deadlifts are really needed. I dont really have the time to do them that much anymore and it just drains me so much that I can barely get through the rest of my workout. Would it be detrimental if I take deadlifts out and focus on perfect form goodmornings and hyperextensions?

If u dont have time to deadlift how would you have time to do GM's and hypers?

Do them at the start or end of your back session every other week

Don't stop doing the deads. Well actually, stop if you don't want big and strong traps, lats, shoulders, forearms, glutes, hams and a bulletproof core front and back. Deads should be the cornerstone of ur back workout. If I'm not 100% or if I'm dieting real hard I will do what base said and do them every other week

well i guess i technically have the time, it just takes so long to do 4 sets of deads and i could easily fit around 6-8 sets of the other exercises into that time. my issue is more of the energy level.

You don't have time to do the most important lift of them all? Thats bs. Do your deads. You'd be wasting your time if you stopped

Don't stop doing deads, but you also don't have to go hardcore every time with them. Dial back the weight and volume and see how that works, remember they incorporate almost your entire body, so taking it easy at times is important.

I do deadlifts on their own day. I literally go in, do deadlifts, and go home.

Stay with the deads, theres a reason why they fatigue you, cuz they work just about every muscle on ur body.

    What warm is prefered.
Maybe a few sets of pulls downs?
    Then dead lifts?
Can someone post a 4 excercise back routine.

Pull downs 3 sets of 8-10
Dead lifts 4 sets of 6-8
Dumbell rows 3 sets of 8-10
    ????
    Thanks
