No...You grow when you rest.
So the best bet is to keep the same training schedule ? One day on one day off/cardio, is there anything that i should be doing different on cycle ?Originally Posted by stpete

Hey bear, we've talked before, and yes Im still going to wait to cycle with the test E only !! BTW i have nailed my diet down and BF is dropping ! My goals are to put on lean muscle and lose fat! I naturally recover fast, but i just recently started taking EOD off lifting in hopes it will help gains! But i got good gain lifting 6 days a week before!Originally Posted by The Bear 79

OK, I remember u, glad ur getting the priorities fine tuned 1st, wise decision. As 4 training frequency, my opinion is do wut works 4 u, BUT, on that same note, I will add that training ed is defiantly a NO NO. Adequate recovery time is a must 4 growth. Here's an example of wut I mean when I say "wut works 4 u". When I go on cycle & I kick my training in2 extreme hi gear, I start out with the every other day routine, working each muscle group once a wk for the 1st 3 or 4 wks, but I raise the amount of weight I move significantly, after about the 3rd or 4th wk. I go to a 2 on 1 off schedule & I increase the muscle group training frequency to 2wice a wk. This works VERY well 4 ME, I make absolutely staggering gains, but that doesn't mean this same routine / idea will work 4 u. So obviously, the answer 2 ur question is NO, do not train everyday, it will do mor harm than good, & the point Im tryin 2 mak is, u hav 2 figure out wut makes u grow most efficiently, & then grab the bull by the horns & run with it.
Understood, thanks again bear, if you think of anything else i should know please let me know.Originally Posted by The Bear 79

Agreed with above 2 on 1 off seems to be a good safe approach. I personally do a 3 on 1 off. It's worked pretty well for me.
So if i were to train chest/tri's Mon, and back/bi's tues, then do cardio wed, legs thurs ,shoulders Fri,that's ok?Originally Posted by Maulx

Training and diet should be on point before embarking on a cycle.
And i'm tired of seeing "i move heavy things"
Well, i move heavier things!!

My diet is nailed down so is my training Im always looking fir new workout tips, and Im not starting a cycle for a couple monthsOriginally Posted by stpete
There are so many different training technics its crazy. I personally feel like I slack off on one or the other if I hit 2 muscles in a day. I like the split day off idea but for me I hit chest by itself back by itself and so on. By the time I would make it to my tri's I would be dead and if I wasn't then I should have hit chest harder! My days are chest, back, off, legs, shoulders, arms, off. I do abs every other day and calves alternate days to that. Works well for me.
Ill have to try that oneOriginally Posted by MeatHead85
I have two regimes which I switch every 3 months so the body doesn't get bored.
First regime (Basic 3 sets, 8-10 reps):
Day 1 Chest/Triceps
Day 2 Legs/Abs
Day 3 off
Day 4 off
Day 5 Shoulders
Day 6 Back/Biceps
Day 7 off
Second regime (Powerlifts 5x5):
Day 1 Chest/Shoulders
Day 2 off
Day 3 Legs/Back
Day 4 off
Day 5 Biceps/Triceps
Day 6 off
Day 7 Abs/high heart rate running
When I trained naturally for 3 years before juicing i was doing more cardio, but i feel like i lose mass so i am cutting down on the cardio.
So a two day split would be better then day on day off?Originally Posted by ****
