    On back-order?

    Gang,

    CVS called me today regarding my prescription and said testosterone was on back order and has been since last SEPTEMBER. Could this be a problem with CVS and the manufacturer's agreement or is this normal?

    CVS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

    I dont even like going there.. Had nuttn but attitude n probs with them and they dont carry any selection of needles and cant get any cuz they "deal with one supplier and they can only get what the supplier gets" ...

    F CVS!!!!!!

    My cvs is nice, but not knowledgeable on any of the male HRT drugs. It was quite disappointing.

    Why don't you just take your scrip to to a compounding pharma?

    Same product and cheaper and you'd never have a situation like this...

    Ran into this with my compounding pharm as well with HCG. They had one bottle but my script is for 3, so they will get the other two by the next week or so. The Cvs here sucked too, didn't know what it even was so that led me to the compounding where at least they care...

    LOL like a three ring circus!

    Many compounding pharmacies get their hCG from India...you can do the same for a lot less hassle and less $$$ to boot!

    They also told me last month my T was on back order and they could only give me 1 of the 1cc vials and not my 10cc bottle!!!Also she said it would take a couple weeks for the order to come in..I said no thanks and went to a new place.I did get attitude from them a few times when filling my test script. like 405 said" F CVS"!!!!!

    I filled my test at cvs once and the guy gave me a hard time so i switched to walgreens and never had a problem

    the only prob i have with switching is my insurance co only will cover scripts that are long term if i get them thru CVS.. i do however get my hcg thru a compound pharm and its only 35$ for 5000IU without insurance which i thought was pretty good i tell ya depending how much the test is to pay out of pocket i may take my business elsewhere ... if its only like 100bucks for a 10mL vial.. then i can really tell cvs to

    F OFF CVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

    Yep...attitude is a problem at my local CVS! I believe she said the same thing...'we only have one supplier'...stupid!

    Really? I think Walgreens is my plan's preferred retail pharmacy. I wonder how much the Androgel 1% is there? At CVS it's $461 retail for 150g.

    I just got a prescription for test-cyp from my Dr. a few weeks ago because of extremely low test levels (40.3 out of a range of 247-827 ng/dl) and it was extremely difficult to find any. The pharmacy I get all my prescriptions from said there was a shortage, and they didn't know when they'd be getting a new supply. None of their other store's pharmacies had it either. (I usually get my prescriptions at SuperStore).

    I was finally able to track down a 10 ml vial at a Wal-Mart pharmacy.

    So I guess there really is a shortage.

    I live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada btw.

    Ask for the 200 mg per ml instead...96.59 out of pocket for 10 ml vial and you inject less at a time into your bod since it's dosed at 200. But then I imagine that might be what those darned BB'ers might be using..
