    Alberta, Canada?

    just wondering if anyone from peace region, GP county, Alberta in this forum. Just started getting really serious about bodybuilding, and really wanna make it, but have no real guidance accept advice etc. on this forum. I live up here by myself, a whole other province from my family and its hard to stay motivated when i don't know a soul i can actually train with or ask questions. the guys at my gym don't seem so bad, but I've never been very approachable, nor do i like just up and starting conversation lol. gym buddy/trainer?? \

    I've worked out at the Millineum Center in Sherwood Park, quite the place! My general observation is that everyone up there plays hockey, young and old. I suggest maybe joining a league, and from there you could possibly meet a friend or two that would also like to workout.

    I grew up in Alberta; Canada is a great place... but customs officials are very strict. It's a small price to pay for good beer and beavers.

    OP....I've been up to GP a few times...a couple of great gyms. There is an Alberta site/forum....I haven't been on since I've competed though. Just google Alberta Bodybuilding.....you'll see the abba site with all the info including IFBB pro's.
