Thread: vial degradation?

    vial degradation?

Used a vial of deca. Used up half the vial last year. All the shots taken from the vial were administered, combined with test, with minimal discomfort. Vial was stored in optimal conditions for about a year, and is still well within its expiration. Recently tried to use the vial again, and upon administering, the test/deca solution burned horribly. Horribly. Anyone know why it suddenly became so harsh.

Have you only tried a single shot recently?
If so, you may have just been injecting near a nerve, which can often make it feel like you're injecting acid.
Otherwise, the oil rancified and became acidic, but I doubt this happened already.

you said it was a test/deca shot. Maybe the test is causing it. Have you tried each alone?

I doubt it was being injected close to a nerve, as the same pain occurred during each of 4 injections, each at a different injection site.

After the 4th shot, the vial of deca was switched for a different vial from a different manufacturer, also an older vial, and there was no abnormal pain during subsequent injections using the different vial of deca. Therefore, i was able to isolate the issue to the one vial of deca.
