does creatine expire?

does creatine expire? i have some that is like 1 yr and 6 months old and some of it is in junks still safe to take?

Creatine Monohydrate is a pretty unstable product. One mixed in water it breaks down to a useless form (called Creatinine) with in about an hour. So if this product was ever opened or looks to have gathered moisture - throw it out.

Personally, since Creatine is a pretty cheap OTC sup - I would throw it out and get a sparkling brand new tub of it.

yes it does expire, it should have an exp. date on it
