    Is muscle milk a good shake ? For weight gain and protein

    I been using muscle milk after working out , 2 scoops and 2 pb tablespoons and a banana just wanted to ask is muscle milk good ? Or is there something better out there

    i used to drink muscle milk when i first started because it was available everywhere pretty much , but i started to read some reviews about it and nothing but bad , just one of the negatives about it , the muscle milk contains Maltodextrin wich is a processed sweetener found in soda. the stuff tastes really sweet as well. there are alot of other reasons why its not top quality protein.

    if your looking for a high quality whey Gaspari myofusion is great tasting and very beneficial , its a blend. for my pre and post workout i drink carnivor beef protein. its not as heavy and its mixing things up a bit.

    if i were you id get off the milk

    Ok I have a little bit left I'll just finish it and not get another one , so which brand should I get ?

    i usually go to costco
    for $30 you get 6 quality pounds of pure protein powder. last i checked, it's blended, so that it has an even metabolization rate over about a 6 hour period.

    Yea times Roman i do the same thing i go to Costco and get it I put 2 scoops with 2 hand fills of frozen fruit and then 4 scoops of low fat greek yogurt in a blender so good and healthy . But i did try muscle milk when i first started its alright in my opinion and it didnt taste that bad.

    If you like it and itworks for you then great. I just dont like the taste and it always gave me a little gas too.
